Percy turned his head and focused down at his hands on his lap. “Sorry. I…” He dragged out shakily.
“You don’t have to talk about it.” Frank decided firmly. He hesitated, and then searched through a leather shoulder bag Percy didn’t notice. He pulled out a pastel purple card. He stared at it for a moment. “This is probably really dumb.” Frank said, grimacing. He held it out for Percy, the card held between his sturdy fingers. “This is a business card for a cafe in New Rome. They’re looking for a new employee.” Frank smiled nervously. “Bombilo's Coffee Shop has been getting jam-packed. Barely anyone knows about this cafe - the owner literally showed up to the Principia to ask for my help. Maybe it can help you get your mind off things and get to know the people of New Rome.”
Percy stared at Frank, eyes wide. He glanced at the card and then looked up at Frank again.
