Summary
Ness and his friends had failed.
They failed the stop Giygas and the embodiment of Evil was left to spread darkness across the world. Creatures and humans that didn't have a strong heart were turned into malicious and evil beings and the land had been enshrouded in eternal night. No sun rises, no wind blows, the stars and moon had ceased to exist-- it was no understatement to call it a literal living hell.
That was three years ago. Ness has been wandering Eagleland looking for his lost friends ever since their failure. When he meets a boy named Lucas who's looking for his brother, he reluctantly decides to team up with him. After all, their loved ones are still out there, lost in this dark, cruel world. If he has any chance of finding his friends, or taking out Giygas and bringing back the sun, he's going to need to learn to trust people again.
Whether he wants to or not.
