It's been six years since the Exalted Council, when Lady Thalia Trevelyan disbanded the Inquisition and moved to Ferelden with her husband, Cullen Rutherford. Far from retiring into obscurity, she has kept abreast of political matters through Divine Victoria, the Inquisition's former spymaster.
A new secret organization forms to handle the troubled times on the continent. Formed by Divine Victoria herself — and often referred to in hushed tones as her Aviary — soldiers, spies, assassins and adventurers gather. Old faces and new abound. The official reason may be to deal with the increasingly brutal takeover of northern Thedas by Qunari invaders, but only the Inner Circle of the former Inquisition know the truth: that the real threat is that of Solas the Prideful, Fen'Harel, the Dread Wolf.
