Illario Dellamorte gets blighted in the final battle for Minrathous and when the smoke clears and the day is saved, he's stuck stranded in the Anderfels as a freshly Joined Grey Warden with absolutely no fucking ties to anyone, anything, or any reason to give damn about continuing to breathe. He'd walk off a cliff into the sea if only Evka, Antoine and one extremely aggressive griffon will just get out of his way. (EI: Illario gets a horse girl arc. Torture would be preferable.)

In the unlikely alternate universe, where Illario gets banished to the Grey Wardens for his various ridiculous crimes against family, sanity, and sense, Davrin finds himself fighting dark spawn with yet another Antivan Crow. He'd complain about it, but at least Illario's good company. Better company when he's killed something and cleaned up afterward. (AKA: Warden Illario and Davrin hook up in the post-game cuz why not?)
