Just before we step into the bar, Willow catches me by the arm. “Hey, listen,” she says, “Don’t, uh… Don’t come back.”
I scowl. “What?”
“Not saying you won’t be missed around here, but listen: word is, this guy’s plannin’ to take you back to Boston with him, and Ahzrukhal’s gonna let him. This is your shot. Whatever happens to Fancy-Hat, whether it’s on the road, or a hundred more years down the line, don’t come back. You tear that damn contract to pieces and strike out on your own. You got that? Don’t you dare come crawling back here to Ahzrukhal.”
My lips thin with frustration and I jerk my arm away. “That is not how it works.” You would think that, after 200 years, she would know that.

Charon had assumed that working for Edward Deegan and the Cabot family would be a nice gig that would set him up for a while without worries. But after the mess at Parsons, it looks like he's got yet another Vaultie to follow. A Vaultie who wasn't afraid of ghouls, apparently was even sleeping with one, and who didn't seem to understand that 'no, he doesn't want to talk about it'.

Hancock hadn't expected that day to be any different from any other day in Goodneighbor, so imagine his surprise when none other than the Vault Dweller herself walked through the gate, a dog at her heels. He wondered if she would ever grace his streets. He'd read enough about her in Publick Occurrences and heard about her deeds over the radio to feel like he'd known her forever, but somehow, he never imagined actually meeting her.
He had no idea what to expect, honestly, except perhaps the usual suspects that came in from having fought through the dangerous Boston streets to get there, but even with her dirty and bloody appearance, she was beautiful. Maybe it was because he knew she had come from a Vault, from the pre-war times, but the only coherent thought in his mind as he watched her step through the gates was: women don’t look like that nowadays.
