Each legendary weapon chooses a wielder based on a certain criteria. If the weapon cannot find anyone who fits that criteria, the weapon will instead choose a recently deceased soul that fits some of it's criteria and who wishes for a second chance at life.
The spear only selects those with unwavering loyalty, and who is more loyal than one who would gladly challenge the entire world just to see those they care about smile?

This interruption leads to her making a spur of the moment decision regarding a certain sacrificial pawn. Meanwhile, within the globe-spanning dungeon of Pangera, in the Sea of Shadows a small spider is born.
Hell awaits you, little spider. Please try to die spectacularly.
Translation: Instead of being reborn into the Great Elroe Labyrinth, Our little spider is reborn into the dungeon of Pangera from the web novel Chrysalis. I tried to write it in a way where people who haven't read Chrysalis can still understand, I just want more people to know about it.
