As Charlie investigates, a threat to everyone in Hell and Heaven alike begins to take form. One with personal ties to herself and others in the Hazbin Hotel. If Charlie, her wives and their growing found family have any hope of thwarting the threat, they must first uncover all the pieces of the puzzle.

Those efforts are futile until Wednesday receives a message that targets no other than Enid Sinclair. She will have to travel across the country to save her friend and unravel the mystery that surrounds the stalker together. Hunting season begins as Wednesday and Enid struggle to catch the stalker, before he has a chance to carry out his plans…

    It’s unfortunate Wednesday has to manage a strange heart condition that seems to appear out of nowhere when the werewolf is close to her.

    You've heard of slow burn? This is glacial. But in a good way: they're figuring things out as they go and building a solid foundation for...whatever might come next. Poor Wednesday, though—she honestly has no idea what's happening, *but for a very good reason*, and once she (and the reader) realize what that is everything will make much more sense.

    Meanwhile Thing's over here, enjoying finally getting a decent manicure and already writing his best hand speech.

    So join our favorite hopeless duo as they try and survive unraveling the latest plot against their lives while absolutely NOT staring at each other and momentarily forgetting how to think.

    “Caitlyn,” she says. That isn’t right. That wasn’t the answer Vi was after. Names are easily given away but so seldomly remembered in Stillwater, but it echoes in Vi’s head. She almost doesn’t hear the actual answer. “And though I have no doubt a thousand people have given this answer before, I did nothing. I was doing my job, and then I was here. No trial. No sentencing. No crime to speak of.”
