Sitting in designer jeans in the wealthy part of Islington, he felt almost ungrateful and dramatic for even considering leaving.
On paper… he knew that, legally speaking, under the Ministry of Magic's laws, he was classified as a creature of near human intelligence. Not even a human. A pet. On the same level as a dolphin to muggles. Most wixen would consider it inappropriate to eat one but no one offered them a vote.
But, well… he didn't exactly talk to anyone in that world beyond Regulus, who seemed to have come to respect Remus as human. More or less. Enough. Everyone Remus interacted with out and about only saw a person.
