V.V. Argost was nothing if not a visionary. An investor and a gambler equally. The well-spring of potential that lay within those crumbling limestone walls was beyond his greatest imaginings. And thus, Weird World was borne from his pragmatism and fanciful enjoyment of classic horror cliches. A magnificent fortress to house his wildest ambitions, a grand vessel to his unearthing. His home was truly perfect in every sense of the word.

Doc Saturday was fairly confident in what he was expecting to find when the airship’s peripheral sensors flagged up a foreign object on the rear stabiliser. What he wasn’t expecting to see was his brother in law, still dressed in the parchment-white button up that he’d worn to the funeral, with the matching blazer jacket in a crumpled-up heap next to him. Doc had bought him the suit for the occasion.
Doyle and Doc reflect on Van Rook's sacrifice in the aftermath of his funeral.

Isolated, she survives by salvaging technology and slipstreaming through portal aftershocks in order to avoid Red Sentient Scouts. As weeks drag on into months, her faith is dwindling. Can a certain series of events rekindle her prayer that there is still some hope left for the multiverse? Summary
Locals of the Himalayas warn of the legend of the Yeti. The hideous, primitive monster that would leave the darkness of its cave on the summit of Everest to maim and slaughter mankind. The deaths on the mountainside were ruled as unexplainable by baffled authorities, as were the legends, stories and bloodied corpses strewn across the mountainside. The remains were rarely decipherable, buried under the ice, yet there were never any reports of missing children. So why does the gaunt, hollow façade of Argost's most loyal assailant bear a frightening resemblance to Drew Saturday's deceased father?
