Summary
“How far up does it go?”
“All the way, I suppose,” said Emmett. “The universe is theoretically infinite in size.”
“Far out.” Marty heaved a sigh. “Doc. I don’t like that.”
"Really? Personally, I take great comfort in the insignificance of my existence within the unfathomable scale of the universe.” He leaned on the workbench, bringing his head down level with Marty’s eyeline. “You know, in the grand scheme of things, every single living creature on earth is infinitesimally small. On a cosmic scale you and I are essentially of a size. Isn’t that interesting?”
“If you say so."
When Doc Brown realises there's something living in his lab, he thinks he has an unusually smart rat. To his amazement, he finds himself with a four-inch tall teenager on his hands - a teenager who is lost, and alone, and a long way away from home.

Summary
“Do you like men?”
Miles nearly spit out his iced tea at the question. “What?”
Phoenix didn’t even have the sense to look embarrassed. “Well, I never really asked when I propositioned you. It didn’t seem relevant, considering our agreement was for optics.”
“You think I was queerbaiting?” Miles gasped, scandalized.
Phoenix shrugged. “Six years ago you would have considered it tactfully advancing your career.”
“I spoke at pride events!” Miles exclaimed, drawing some dirty looks from the elderly couple in the booth across from them.
“All I’m saying is I’ve never seen you with anyone, especially not any men.”
Miles rolled his eyes at this. “Oh, I’m sorry, I didn’t have any time to go on dates with handsome young pursuers while I was busy saving my husband who jumped off of a bridge!”
At 20 years old, Phoenix asks Miles Edgeworth to marry him. Fifteen years and a lot of W-2s later, they finally say their vows.

Summary
Most of Miles' decisions were well-thought out. They made sense. They were logical. Safe. The decision to stay in Phoenix's guest room while he worked on his dissertation, however, had been made entirely on a whim-- and no matter how he tried to keep it all together, it was going to drag him as far from his comfort zone as he'd ever been, whether he liked it or not.
Phoenix had been in love with Miles Edgeworth for years; what they had now was perfect, though, and he would never dream of asking for anything else. Even so, inviting the man into his home for an unknown period of time was bound to unearth some truths... could it really be that they were more on the same page than he'd ever thought possible?

Summary
38B.
That’s what Phoenix has been repeating to himself since he printed out his ticket. Since he went through security. Since he sat down in the terminal. Since he stood up to board. Since he stepped foot on this metal tube that is definitely not going to fall out of the sky.
Phoenix trusts modern engineering and technology.
He does not trust things that are more than even ten feet above the ground.
