First is the Bat.
Then comes an Owl who soon fosters their own Robin.
As the nest grows, a Robin is prematurely plucked.
From the dregs a baby bird tries to hold its flock together.
Somewhere along the lines, a grounded bird finds their way back into her confides.
Eventually, the nest is filled.
Or: Gotham stakes her claim on the Bat and his Birds, leaving them a little less human than they once were. This changes everything and nothing at all.
