Deep down, though, he knew it to not be true. He couldn’t remember well, it had been centuries ago and he was so small, but he had a family. They played together, and they were happy. They laughed and cried and genuinely cared for each other. Sometimes, he'd have fuzzy dreams about his family, and he'd always wake up crying.
Today was one of those days.

Summary
Advised by a doctor to stop reading during the commute, Xingqiu decided to take up a new approach - listening to podcasts. Naturally, he gravitated towards those that counted stories, but he found himself trying podcasts of slightly different varieties, until he found his current favourite podcast - Field Guide to Demons and Beasts. It mixed a variety of subjects such as history, the paranormal and mythology, and the contents were interesting but what captivated Xingqiu was the podcaster’s passion in his voice.
Despite having a small following perhaps due to the nature of the contents, it did not stop the podcast from creating content much to Xingqiu’s relief. It became a routine in Xingqiu’s life, and his feelings of admiration led him to send fan mail.
Maybe the fanmail also contained the location of some fake haunted places stories, thanks to the podcaster mentioning looking up such places as a hobby before. But well, they were just harmless pranks, right? It’s not like he’ll actually run into the owner of the voice he listens to almost everyday, nobody is that gullible… right?

Xingqiu isn't too sure how things got to this point.
He's a smart boy, who excels in his studies, makes well thought out plans and negotiates effortlessly. So why, in the name of all Seven, whenever the topic is his feelings on romance, did he lose all composure?
Xingqiu blames a certain exorcist for it, as he feels the weight of his lies worsening the more he tries to convince his parents they’re dating. Why? Because apparently it's his ticket out of an arranged marriage.
And Xingqiu does not want to marry anyone that wasn't Chongyun.
Hopefully his friend will play along just long enough to get those ideas out of his parents' minds...
But what if it ends up changing their relationship permanently along the way?Or “the frustrating ordeal of watching two fools pine after each other in mutual, oblivious love”.

A nickname? God, he really was annoying. Diluc hesitated to answer, because it was odd for a vampire to go so long without feeding and he didn’t want to have a werewolf of all species to know about why. It gave him a sense of vulnerability he wanted to avoid at all costs.
“What’s it to you?” he ended up settling on instead.
“Curious,” when Diluc finally looked at Tartaglia again, there was a toothy grin on his face “never saw a vampire this hungry before after all. You were so into it,” and he took a step closer, getting entirely up on Diluc’s personal space, “that it was kind of hot.”

Mystery noticed right away when something had changed in Jinu after the little incident at the bathhouse. After watching him sneak out in the middle of the night, Mystery decided to follow him for answers.
It seemed, however, that Mystery was not the only one in silent pursuit of their friend that night.
This one decision to seek answers would later leave the reins of fate in the hands of both Mystery and his new companion.
