Summary
He felt the hairs on the back of his neck stand-up. He wasn't alone. Before he could fully process this information, he was halfway across the room with his dagger at the throat of his manservant, who was snoring peacefully on Arthur's windowsill with a broom clutched in his elbow.
He breathed in sharply, adrenaline ramping up a notch as he realized how close he had been to cutting Merlin's throat.
Dropping the blade to his side, Arthur studied him. Merlin's long form collapsed in on itself to fit on the small shelf, his inky black hair curling against the morning dew that was gathering on the window panes. His thick eyelashes were fluttering lightly over his pale cheeks and one of his hands was twitching, but he slept soundly.

Summary

Summary
