What would happen if the big argument happened a few years earlier?
What if the brothers split apart before their absent mother dropped off Baby Branch’s egg, when Floyd was still the youngest?
What if a young Floyd was abandoned by his brothers, left to wonder if they’d ever come back, with only his Grandma to keep him company?
He’d probably feel pretty alone. At least, until a certain egg shows up…
OR
Floyd basically ends up raising Branch while trying to heal from his family abandoning him. Oh, and, the other brothers have no idea Branch exists. Floyd-centered, because his role deserves more recognition.

So I read a fic a bit ago, and I can’t remember the fic now, but I remember they used a headcannon I had never heard of where Clay and Floyd were twins. I thought that was really cool, but then I thought about Satin and Chenille and how their hair is connected and I was like; why not?
Clay and Floyd are twins conjoined by the hair who have been captured by Superstars Velvet and Veneer. But Velvet wants them in separate bottles.

“We can’t do that,” Eraserhead says gently, looking Izuku up and down. Izuku’s stomach clenches. He’ll see Izuku’s eyes, the skin on his arms, and he’ll go away, like all the others.
Izuku has an animal mutation quirk that leaves him alone and shunned by most of society. Found half-frozen outside in the winter by Eraserhead and Present Mic, Izuku now has to learn how to open up and to trust.
