Feng Xin blinked, confused. “Say what?”

Summary
FengQing Week 2025: Day 1 - Land of Tender
With Xie Lian's recent ascension as a martial god, Feng Xin and Mu Qing have been overwhelmed with missions and tasks to fulfill, while Dianxia has been busy with his own prayers to answer. With Xie Lian out of town for a few days, Mu Qing had been instructed to handle some demons that had been terrorizing a small town on the outskirts of Xianle. However, something goes terribly wrong, and now Feng Xin has to deal with the consequences.
Fortunately, it seems like the consequences weren't all that bad to deal with, at least at face value.

Summary
Mu Qing has always been annoyed that he can see the red string tied to his finger — it trails endlessly, snagging on trees, tangling when he trains, and reminding him that somewhere out there is a “fated person” he doesn’t want. He considers it a nuisance more than anything.
One day, he realizes the string is pulling tighter, tugging like it’s impatient. He follows it only to find Feng Xin, bloody and injured after a fight, collapsed against a ruined wall. The string is wound taut between them, glowing faintly.
Mu Qing’s first reaction is: Of course it had to be you.
