Summary
“He was beautiful!” Ashido pops up, sliding on top of the coffee table in front of Kaminari with a wild grin. The classmates ignore Iida’s indignant yelling.
“Long, flowing hair, pale skin, nice eyes,” she sighs dreamily, “I’m so glad we got to meet such a hot ghost.”
“I didn’t really see him,” Sero recalls, “I just remember hearing a voice and then running for our lives.” Kirishima gives a nod.
“Plus, it was really dark,” he adds.
“That’s because you weren’t looking,” Ashido gives a pout.
Uraraka gives a hum, she wants to see a hot ghost. Hagakure shifts beside her, careful not to move too much, and she feels a woosh by her head from what must be a fist in the air.
“That’s it!” she exclaims, “I want to see the hot ghost.”
In which Class A just wants to find a ghost, but instead they find a lonely, forgotten god in the middle of the woods.

Summary
Cor gives a snarl and it sounds impressively feral and even dangerous despite the fact that he squeaks like a chew toy and his tiny little legs bounces slightly. It’s the expression, however, the slight pout on the tiny face that Regis has never seen Cor make, that causes the King to throw his head back and bellow a loud burst of laughter, hard enough that tears threaten to escape.
His son looks like he’s two seconds away from running away to become a fisherman in Altissia and Prompto not so subtly shifts until he’s hiding behind the prince. Regis can see a tuft of chocobo-like hair behind Noctis’ own dark hair and it makes Regis want to giggle like a schoolgirl.
“Noctis,” Regis wheezes, wiping a tear that managed to escape, “what did you do?”
And can you teach me how?
In which Cor gets turned into, well, something, Regis has a fantastic time until he doesn't, Noctis is at a loss the entire time, and Prompto is there because why wouldn't he be?

Summary
Prompto’s eyes widen and he chokes on nothing but dry air, his sore throat constricting into another ragged cough. He unscrews the orange juice bottle, drinks until he can’t breathe, coughs again, then changes Cor’s contact name to Mr. Sir Immortal Marshal in a panicked haze. Then, he dials Noct’s number.
“Noct,” Prompto whispers after hearing the click, his voice low and raspy, “the Immortal is in my house.”
Noct gives his small huff laughter, the one he gives when he genuinely finds something funny, but it's quickly cut off.
“Well next time, answer your phone and I won’t have to sic him on you,” Prompto can hear his pout and the weight of guilt presses heavier on his chest. He presses his fist into his mouth to muffle a cough.
In which Prompto is sick and it summons the Dad out of Cor. Also, everyone loves Prompto and he deserves to know it.

Summary
“Oh, that sounds like my brother,” Shouto says it like it was a great revelation. Dabi does scoff, because of course it does. Strange that they were both thinking of the same person, except Dabi is catching the contagious disease of memory the longer he spends time with Shouto and he greatly dislikes how many times his other siblings have popped up in his mind over the past- however long they’ve been stuck here for. Dabi is really beginning to feel like he’s enjoying himself, which should be rectified immediately.
“Not my oldest brother, though, he’s too short.”
Dabi is no longer enjoying himself.
“Hey fuck yo-” he catches himself, biting his tongue violently.
In which Dabi is stuck underneath a building with Todoroki Shouto and a whole lot, and nothing at all, happens.

Then there’s Akechi.
Akechi, who is all grace and mild manners and mild smiles, with a mild laugh and a constant mild expression, nothing but pleasant and soft spoken and so subtly fake that Akira almost fell for it. Around him, Akira feels the need to provoke, to push and poke until he sees cracks in the mask, slivers of the real Akechi Goro slipping through. He never feels more competitive or impulsive until he hears the layer of sharp, poisonous thorns underneath that calm, honey-like voice. At the same time, however, Akira feels the same playfulness he does with Morgana, the same calm as with Haru, feels softer and more innovative, feels louder and quieter, thoughtful and energetic, constantly resisting the urge to smile for no reason, constantly shifting from listening quietly as the Detective Prince talks to teasing him with a slow smile to refusing to back down until the Earth cracks from the force of their arguments. It’s fun and almost addicting and Akira thinks it might get him into trouble one day, if it hadn’t already.
In which Akira has no impulse control but it actually works out for him.

Barnes snorts. “Having a drink,” he says, then gives Clint another one of those appraising looks. “You a professional?” he says, after a second, and Clint is momentarily confused.
A professional what?
And then he realizes Barnes must be talking about pool, and Clint huffs a laugh. “Only when there’s money involved,” he says, smirking, and Barnes kind of nods, like that makes any sort of sense.
Then Barnes nods again, a little more firmly, and says “You got a place?”
Which is about the point that Clint realizes that he’s not meeting the Winter Soldier in a bar, he’s being picked up by the Winter Soldier in a bar and-
“Yeah,” he croaks, clears his throat, thinks wildly that he’s really fucking glad Kate has Lucky for a few days, and says “Yeah, I got a place.”
Or, how Bucky got his groove back.
(And Clint too, but it was a different sort of groove)
