Summary
Sanji looked down and inspected the shattered chains that laid against the floor, cleanly cut by the only idiot on the ship that could do it.
He turned to the kitchen to the only known suspect. Zoro was leaning back in one of the chairs, boots propped up on the table, surrounded by some of his most expensive bottles.
“Oh you son of a bitch.”
Zoro laughed from his seat, taking another sip from the container.

Summary
Vash could feel the eyes on him from behind, could feel them examining every move he made. If he even stumbled once, they'd be on him before he could even blink. He hated it, the knowledge that other people could be worried for him, despite all the wrongs he's committed– how much destruction is caused by his mere presence.
Vash's body was shutting down, he could feel it.
He didn't deserve the luxury.
OR
Vash tries to hide things from the people that care about him, and ultimately fails.

Summary
He had woken up from a nightmare, one of the many few that plagued him throughout the night. It was hard to find peace in Hawkins. It wasn't anything out of the ordinary this time, just the feeling of a demo dog's teeth puncturing his leg, fading into demo bats eating him alive, and Max floating in the air, then everyone around him following closely after.
And then when it was finally his turn to rise, the hand of Vecna around his throat, waiting to break every bone in his body, he would wake up. Sometimes with a scream, sometimes just with silence and labored breathing.
It wasn't an ideal way of spending the late nights of his youth, constantly paranoid and sleep deprived. He should be laughing and annoyed at the power company when his lights flickered, not reaching for his bat out of fear of something turning his corner ready to eat him.
The kitchen phone rang through the house, causing him to flinch.
He also probably shouldn't be scared of the phone.

Summary
Nicotine.
A toxic chemical originally found in a plant called tobacco. Ever since the big fall humans had to rely on worms to satisfy their cravings, eventually learning they could produce a similar chemical to the one of tobacco.
Though it was being used to relieve stress, it was probably doing more harm than good.
It was an addiction that infected Wolfwood's mind, as much as it did his lungs. He chased the small buzz that came with every inhale, relief flooding him the moment he tasted it.
His small luxury that came with the hellscape that was their planet and its atrocities.
Nothing could take the edge off like a cigarette could.
Or
2 times Wolfwood smokes to cope, and the 1 time The Humanoid Typhoon was able to help instead.

Summary
Why was Zoro calling him?
He stood in the doorway of the man's apartment, hand still waiting on the door.
“Mosshead, I know you're directionally challenged, but is it so bad that you can't even navigate your phone properly?”
Zoro watched him, his face coated with a soft stare he normally only reserved for Chopper, and crossed his arms. “I know exactly how to navigate my phone, cook.”

Nami asks Sanji to help Zoro with his crush, the only problem is, Zoro won't tell him who it is.

Summary
“This is a problem. We lost crew members at our last island. We can replace them now, but what if a bigger group stays behind at the next place we stop? What if someone else can buy Ryusui’s attention? How many people will stay behind with him?”
Senku’s attention swings to where Gen stands in the entrance to his lab. Taiju and Yuzuriha shift on their feet, but no one argues with him. Because damn him, he really is right. “That was a quick lunch.”
“Ukyo has a small appetite.” Gen shifts, his eyes narrowing briefly before he turns. “Think about what I’m saying Senku dear and you’ll know I’m right.”
***
Senku can't help but notice Ukyo's growing crush on Gen. The thought sets him on edge and nothing is helped by Gen's insistence that Senku needs to do something to solidify the loose alliances they're all relying on. When Ukyo volunteers to help Gen with his part in the plan, Senku scrambles to make sense of his feelings.

Summary
"I sang a lot growing up," Ukyo says. "Music was very important to my family. The day of the petrification, I was supposed to go meet one of my cousins for a karaoke night.”
Gen’s eyes brighten. “Dear Ukyo, are you telling me you’ve been hiding a musical talent all this time?”
Ukyo smiles, almost shy but clearly pleased. “Guess so. I’m out of practice, but I can still carry a tune.”
Gen leans forward, absolutely delighted. “We are absolutely having a performance night. You can sing, I can do magic. I’ll make a stage, I’ll get dear Yuzuriha to make you something indecent for you to wear - oh, the possibilities!”
Senku forces himself to keep walking, though their voices follow him, threaded through with laughter. It’s nothing, he tells himself. Just a conversation about music. Just another trivial, unnecessary thing Gen happens to share with Ukyo instead of him.
--
Ukyo can sing. For many reasons, this means Senku suffers.

For all Gen’s skills and manipulation, he still couldn’t seem to help the person he loved the most. Years of this, and Gen only being a friend to Senkuu. Kept at a distance. Summary
Senku never complained about his issues, this was a fact that everyone who knew him was aware of. He never let others see more than he wanted to show, but Gen was far from an idiot. The so-called “colds” came far too often, always after Senku stretched himself far too thin whilst working on some new experiment and wouldn’t eat any food or drink blood for a long period.
He’d brush it off with a snide remark, pretending it was nothing more than exhaustion, but Gen saw the signs
Or: Senku hasn’t drank properly in a while and is letting his health deteriorate. Gen ain’t letting that slide….thought things get outta hand mid session
