A series of unfortunate events had lead the Hargrove family to up and move to the small town of Hawkins. While expecting a boring and mundane life here, Jackie and her step-sister Maxine somehow wound up being at the centre of an unimaginable journey. One of which would change their lives forever.It all started after a seemingly unremarkable meeting and an offer of a job. Jackie would quickly begin to wish she'd just stayed in bed on that first day of November in 1984, it would've saved her a world of trouble.

“You like both, right?” Wheeler junior asked in a whisper.
Steve nodded, his hands crossed and eyeing the kid.
“Right.” The kid nodded back slower. “How did you know? That you liked both?”
Sighing, Steve thought, would probably give off the impression that Steve was disinterested or irritated with the kid’s dilemma here, which wasn’t necessarily true, but the urge to do so boiled up so strongly. Instead though, he shrugged, slouching on the counter that separated the two of them. “I didn’t. For most of my life, I just thought staring at guys in locker rooms or on the basketball field or on TV was things that all guys do and just don’t talk about. Which is, by the way, not true.”

“They’d want you to come. Plus I already asked Robin & she’s in! Maybe I could convince Nancy & Johnathan to join too. It’ll be fun! When’s the last time we’ve all gotten together? Fighting the horrors of the underworld don’t count. “Ughhhhhh, I guess we haven’t really been all together since then, but we could do literally anything else.” Steve said hoping they’d do anything besides see this creepy movie
“Nope I already asked the kids. And guess what Harrington? You get to drive us all in my van.”
“Oh so I get to chauffeur a bunch of kids, the local lesbian & the accused murderer to a movie about weird goblins & David Bowie? You don’t know man, maybe I have a date that night it is a Friday after all”
