Steve in 1983 would never have thought that his whole world-view would change in such a little amount of time, he never imagined himself "adopting" five random kids and one superpowered little girl- chaperoning them around town and babysitting the little shits- and he definitely didn't imagine himself getting stuck in an alternate dimension that had started the whole mess that was his life.
Now if he could just find Robin, Nancy and Eddie and get the hell out of Dodge he would be absolutely golden.
It's funny how life goes out of its way to fuck him over.

With the threat of the Kishin and madness seeping throughout the world, missions at the DWMA begin to pile up as Kishin Eggs run rampant. Weapon and Meister's have been strictly ordered to team up with missions, however as Lord Death begins to notice that many urgent missions are being left for too long, he turns to his son, Death the Kid.
Unfortunately, although Kid is a Reaper, there's only so much he can do before it wares him down.

Summary
The episode where Ross kisses Chandler's mom really stuck out to me upon rewatching in how much resentment he seemed to have for her. Canonically it's mostly just pent up aggression about the divorce and Nora's career but lines like "Nobody knows the crap I go through with my mom more than you" spawned this fic.
