Summary
When D-16 wakes up on the surface of Cybertron, he can't figure out where he is or how he got there. Now surrounded by unfamiliar mechs in an unfamiliar war, his only focus is to figure out where his place is in all of this. Summary

The fury that fills his veins is immediate, viscous. Soap has to unclench his jaw with active effort, "He's 1-4-1 now, he's mine."
Shepherd stays silent for a moment, long enough that Soap knows he's given too much away. It's alarming, how much he doesn't care about it. The voice on the phone comes eventually, slow and mocking, "We'll see about that."
Soap lets out an audible snarl, even as the line goes dead.
