“According to you,” Shouto interjects. Bakugo’s eyebrow twitches.
“—but you were one of the only shitheads down there that seemed to care enough to want to do something about Deku,” Bakugo pauses, as if expecting Shouto to interrupt. He does not, because Bakugo is right and Shouto doesn’t want to tell him that.
“I’m going to go after him myself,” Bakugo says gruffly. “If you want to come along.”

Endeavor doesn't give Class 1-A the tracking device to find Midoriya Izuku after he leaves U.A., but Shouto and Bakugou decide to take matters into their own hands and bring back their friend. Neither of them realize just how fundamentally fucked things are beyond the U.A wall, and they have to navigate the apocalyptic villain-riddled city. Summary
In their first year at UA Midoriya sent his location to the class 1-A group chat during the Hosu incident because he didn't have time to do anything else before rushing to Iida's aid.
Now in their second year, Todoroki sends his location to the group chat at 6:30am on a Saturday morning after going home for the weekend. Midoriya knows immediately that something is very wrong and takes off, Bakugo hot on his heels.

Bakugo braced himself as Midoriya shuffled to the side to show where his hands were hovering over what was most certainly a burn and a serious one at that. “I thought it was just you, but damn, look at the other Todorokis!” Kaminari laments, sighing dramatically as he collapses backwards into the couch, “It’s not fair, you’re all too pretty!”
Shouto would normally keep what he’s about to say to himself, but something compels him to voice the dark humor that immediately flashes in his mind.
“Thank you. We’re designer.”
From the kitchen table, Izuku and Katsuki choke on their respective drinks, hacking and coughing as they desperately try not to suffocate at the sudden remark.
(OR, Shouto discovers dark humor is a helpful way to cope with his trauma)
