"There was a discomfort between the three of them that hadn’t been there before. Izuku was doing his best to act like everything was normal, but since normal for him meant a lot of friendly physical affection towards Ochako, things got strange when he caught himself about to touch her and just pulled away. Each time it happened, the lump in Shouto’s stomach grew heavier. He was so happy to be in love with a wonderful girl who loved him back, but he hated that one of his first friends was struggling because of it."
