Pomni caught how the little seams fixing Ragatha’s arms to her shoulders flexed, threatening to give way. She had to let go before Zooble ripped her forearms clean off. Zooble swiped through the tablet almost angrily as they muttered, “I don’t even know what you’re so pressed about. It’s not like your derby rider was that pretentious about – ”
Zooble cut themself off and went very, very silent.
Pomni’s mouth went dry. Dryer than it’d been even after a stress of time without real water. She watched, scared for a reason she couldn’t place, as both of Zooble’s detachable eyes widened. She could have sworn that their hot pink face turned almost salmon for a quick second before returning to its original shade. They set down the tablet and turned.
“Ragatha,” they said slowly, “why does the catalogue of NPCs include a mock-up of Jax?”

A turtle. All angles and elbows, neon cutting sharp against the void. Two streams of blood marked his face, hidden under a blue mask. Leo?
Mikey slammed into him, wincing as he took in the bruises, the odd angles. The turtle blinked, eyes almost swollen shut.
“M'key?” He mumbled, before he tensed all up and grabbed Mikey by the shoulders, “Mikey! Nonono- you can't-” Mikey couldn't help but reach back, cupping Leo's face in his hands. They weren't blood, they were stripes. A Leo, turtle, blue mask, but.. not his Leo. Leo's eyes, fuzzy with pain, scanned over him fully.
“..you're.. you're not…” He breathed. Mikey shook his head, mask tails swinging and miserable. He wasn't. “You can't be here!” Mikey's mouth trembled,
“I dunno..”, he gasped, “I dunno.”

A month after the defeat of Shredder, and things are pretty chill. Chill enough that Leonardo's off on an errand to pick up pizza when he sees April and Sunita chatting away at Hueso's. And what kind of best friend would he be if he didn't try to give her a little bit of trouble? But while doing so, he gets himself a drink, and suddenly finds himself looking at Sunita in a way he shouldn't be.
Because he didn't get crushes. He tried that before and it never worked. So how come he couldn't get her out of his head, his best friend's crush no less?
He soon discovers he wound up with a love potion he was never supposed to get, and as the hours pass its trying to make him more and more obsessed Sunita. And the more he fights it, the worse he feels.
There has to be some way to get rid of this.
