Summary
Edward Teach doesn't have an anger problem. At least, he doesn't think he has an anger problem until a road rage incident ends in a car wreck that takes Izzy's leg. When Izzy takes his life, Edward reaches rock bottom.
Six years later, and Edward is getting better. He is in love with Stede Bonnet and going to therapy when his therapist recommends a group for people with anger problems. At least, Edward thinks he is getting better.
Meanwhile, Stede decides the supportive thing to do is be there for Ed, even if it means volunteering at the soup kitchen run by Roach that just so happens to be held at the same time as Ed's meetings. As Ed tries to heal, Stede finds himself struggling to save the homeless people that come to the kitchen - especially one dark man with a missing leg.

Summary
Houseboat-owning divorcé Stede is coerced by his coworker Lucius into joining Bumble, where he matches with former boxer/current gym owner Edward. They have a disastrous first date where they run into Izzy, Ed’s reformed ex from a decade ago (their relationship was mutually toxic, but not nearly as toxic as canon).
Stede is certain that Ed and Izzy still love each other and they were the right person at the wrong time, Ed is convinced that the apparent hatred between Izzy and Stede could actually be love, and Izzy thinks he must help Ed and Stede figure out that they’re good for each other because they’re too stupid to do it themselves. Meanwhile, Stede wants to learn how to be gay, Ed has a crisis over men in skirts, and Izzy learns friendship from his homophobic dog. Chaos ensues.

Summary
Ed had been enjoying the rut he was spending with this Omega, Stede. He was funny and cute and incredibly hot--and they had enough fun that Ed might've been thinking about asking him out after everything was done.
Until an accidental slip up resulted in Ed biting Stede and mating him.
Thanks to threats from Stede's dad, they can't get it removed for three months. So Stede asks the Alpha to pose as his actual mate in the meantime.
