Viren wasn’t stupid. He knew that this thing between them, this involvement with each other, was not a professional relationship. He knew that the ritual that created the caterpillar had bonded them in some way, and that since then Aaravos had been in his mind day and night. That he’d been literally by his side almost constantly for a while now.
Still, saying it out loud, admitting it? That seemed like a bad idea. Who knows what he’d be inviting?
