Summary
Laurent was thirteen when his father and Auguste died and his uncle took over his custody.
The regent held him captive, abused and raped him for 4 long years before the young and very talented special agent Damianos tracked down Laurent's abuser and freed him from the basement that was his cell.
Before he knows it, Damen became the only person Laurent trusted. Unable to stand the thought of leaving the severely traumatised teenager, Damen decided to keep Laurent with him. He left everything behind just so that he could bring Laurent to a place far away from his traumatic past for him to heal.
In the process, more than one kind of feelings developed between them.

Summary
Damen is the worst punishment Auguste could do to him, and so of course he did.
The thought of having to live with Damen until he gets better is smothering. They will have to share a home, Laurent’s home, his safe place, and Laurent cannot say no, because having Damen here is still better than going to the hospital, where he will be at the mercy of all.
