It was a week early.
Ferdinand had taken great care with all the planning and arrangements for such an important evening. He was supposed to be hosting one of his great von Aegir family balls - a lavish evening of dancing and socializing amongst his friends, colleagues, or simply anyone lucky enough to receive an invitation. The menu alone had taken him a month to finalize, not to mention all the trouble of the wine, the music - even deciding on the date had taken careful consideration of the Emperor’s schedule.
And yet, despite all of his work, something still went wrong.

Even with all of his careful planning, Ferdinand ends up in heat during one of the most important social events of the year. Yet, perhaps with a bit of convincing, he could get one Marquis von Vestra to indulge his needs.

Shiro, Lance thought half heartedly, was a total jerk.
Lately, it seemed like whenever there was a stealth mission his first thought was to partner the blue and red paladins together. At least when he had himself fooled he could pretend he tracked every single thing Keith did because he didn’t want to be caught off guard and lose some imagined competition, but now? Nowadays, he had to admit he was more focused on the way the sleek blade mission suits clung to the alpha’s abs and set off his sharp jawline.
All that to say, as much as they butted heads, Lance and Keith were a force to be reckoned with-infiltrating this base should’ve been no different than sneaking into the last. Naturally, this is where things take a turn.
OR
After crushing on Keith for months, Lance unexpectedly goes into heat during an infiltration mission where the two paladins are completely isolated from the team and have to make it in and out of the base before getting caught. How do Lance and Keith work around his heat when they get trapped in an alcove pressed together head to toe, and can't leave because there's guards in the hallway? The fun way of course ;)

FN-2187 was not a Good Stormtrooper, for all that he was a skilled one.
Good Stormtroopers followed orders. They didn't question their surroundings, didn't doubt, didn't feel guilt and grief… didn't wish that the First Order never existed.
And they definitely, definitely, didn't have the Force.

The Sith, for one, absolutely hadn't seen him coming.
