Summary
After being freed from the underworld the Angel of Death has begun wreaking havoc upon the mortal realm, taking over the Kingdom of Forseti. Techno, as the human who freed him, has allied with the Angel to enact revenge upon the people who betrayed him.
The only issue is, Techno never freed the Angel at all, and this is all a huge misunderstanding.
Or: Through a series of unfortunate events, and a lot of miscommunication, Techno gets adopted by the devil.

"Oh I absolutely could," Tommy hissed. "The only thing between you and a life with a cane is Philza Minecraft, man of all men."
"And the only thing between you and foster care is a delicate paper trail." Wilbur interrupted, flicking a butterfly knife between his fingers.

Techno forms his signature blade of light. “Do you really have to do the exact same speech every single time?”
“Do you really have to do the exact same transformation every single time?” Philza quips back, raising an eyebrow.
“Touché.”

Summary
“What are you doing here?” A hushed voice demanded.
Thanato whipped his head to the side.
There, sitting only half on the railing, was… a kid?
The young looking maybe-hero wore a fully black outfit, mask and all, as well as a cloak that almost accentuated the typical lanky body and round face of a teenager. Perhaps that was biassed, coming from a father of two, but to him it seemed quite clear.
“I could ask you the same thing, kid.” He whispered back.
The maybe-hero squawked, clearly offended, and Thanato was sure he would’ve shouted if it wouldn’t have risked discovery. “I’m not a kid, I’m fucking Theseus bitch! This is my first ever ree-con-aye-since mission, not even that- my first ever mission, and you’re ruining it!”
Thanato blinked, before tipping his head to the side.
“This is your first mission?” He confirmed.
“Yeah, bitch.” Theseus acknowledged, rather rudely.
A reconnaissance assignment as a hero’s first mission? That was unheard of, not only because it would never grace the news, but because heroes knew it wouldn’t. “...Seems pretty boring.”

Tommy cried harder, soaking the villain’s white shirt in tears.
It was probably too late anyway. He could feel the blood from his wound seeping through his clothes, and surely The Blood God had too. He was dying. The days of Tommy the Hero were over.
But god, he didn’t want to die alone.
Be tossed out like every other hero who left too soon. Given a heartless funeral where nobody truly cared.
At the very least, he wanted to die loved.

Techno never intended to get cursed, it wasn’t exactly something you do on purpose, and yet here he was, and here Philza was being an oblivious idiot. Well, he was still going to help him, obviously, but he was definitely going to be spiteful about it.
