The world turns upside down as he begins to stumble. Only a strong hand around his elbow keeps him from tumbling right into the water. She somehow stands while keeping hold of him and sighs, her cigarette still hanging from her lips. “I’m going to take you home. Not because I’m helping you. But because I wouldn’t be able to sleep if I just left you here.” She pulls him next to her, draping his arm over her shoulder. “This is a completely selfish action, so be a good boy and don’t bitch about it the whole walk back to the ranch.”

Summary
Just another Rolan/Tav slowburn. And I mean SLOW. Less game-plot focussed - I wanted to explore how Rolan and Tav would interact and build their respect for each other. Not sure how long it'll be, but there's not nearly enough love for Rolan. I plan to write this fic to completion.
