Okay, okay,” Bebe said, scanning the hallway like a general surveying a battlefield. “We just need someone who’s small, light, not completely uncoordinated… and won’t freak out midair.”
“Where are we gonna find that?” Annie groaned.
And then, almost comically, Kyle Broflovski walked past.
Shorter than most of the guys in school but built lean, not scrawny. Hoodie pulled over that mess of red curls, green eyes catching the fluorescent light. His backpack dragged slightly off one shoulder, making him look even narrower. He was fast, they’d seen him on the track, and even though he didn’t play anymore, his posture still screamed athlete.
Bebe’s lips curved into a grin. “Ladies. There’s our guy.”
