    “I tell you I’m stuck in a time loop and your response is yeah okay?” he demanded.

    “I mean… yeah?” Dylan trailed off, eyes narrowing. “It’s either that or you’re stalking me, so.”

    It was silent for a beat, as Ryan squinted at the other boy in complete disbelief. Naturally, it was Dylan seizing the moment to turn it into a punchline that jumpstarted his brain into processing again. Perhaps better than it ever had before — or else a benefit of all this supernatural bullshit was finally appearing — because even he, still reeling from being witch-slapped back in time mere moments after his own death, could recognize the flirtatious spin this had just taken.

    "Are you stalking me, Ryan?" came the simpering voice, paired with a suggestive wiggle of Dylan's eyebrows.

    “Ryan, I don’t have much time. I can feel it like it’s fighting to get out. If you let me bite you and you heal—”

    “Then I’ll have to kill Chris.”

    Ryan lurched free from his grandmother’s grasp, dragging himself across the floor, desperate to get away in time. Because it was over. It was over when Ryan shot Chris. And it was over again when Laura shot Silas. Goddammit—it was supposed to be over. “Get away...” he begged, choking down the low, rumbling growl that began clawing its way up his throat.

    “Ryan,” he heard the woman plead, already scrambling after him, “please, you’re gonna hurt yourself—”

    Gnashing his teeth, he clawed viciously at his shirt until the fabric began to tear. Vision clouded with a glowing red haze, blood pooled in his mouth as his teeth ripped through his cheeks. Bones breaking and reforming as he felt ready to burst from his skin, Ryan finally screamed:

    “GET AWAY FROM ME.”

    or a partial blood-pact ending continuing three years after the events of the game.
