Eating used to be a quiet affair. It used to be laced with fear as he snuck around, desperate to quell what he now knows was the tiger begging for more, more, more, something he could never have. Atsushi used to eat alone, used to be alone, used to stick to a rigid schedule because that was all he knew.
Atsushi slept in and now he eats breakfast with people who know him and somehow it's perfect.

Atsushi had trouble with a lot of things; And that included breathing without feeling as if there were barbed wires across his skin, tightening with every word he spoke and breath he took. He wished the feeling would go away, and on the rare occasion it did, it was because someone had been kind enough to try and comfort him over something he couldn’t even place within his mind.
