now, the healing process was a bitch, but only to tommy. tommy had a faster healing rate than most people, and the way he healed people was by transfering their injury to himself. tommy looked over at his leg as he felt his bones crush and bruise, blood began to pour from the quickly purpling leg. he felt the bones in 404's leg rearrange and sit back into place. 404 whimpered slightly, and tommy looked over at him.
"does it hurt to much?" 404 shook his head.
"less than usual. but i don't understand how you stay so silent during this. you are literally transferring my injury to yourself. i know how much that hurts. you don't even blink an eye. how?"
"i don't feel it." tommy lied. he did feel it, but it was a welcome pain, and tommy knew that dream would accept a single tear. tommy was stronng, dream had told him so, and tommy didn't need to cry, or let out embarassing noises of pain. besides, dream had helped him learn how to take pain.

tommy is a healer for dream, l'manburg's top hero, and when he encounters the top three villains in a back alley, he wonders if he'll die, and why he doesn't. hurt/comfort ensues

Summary
Tommyinnit leads one of the worst double lives in history. After his parents death Tommy was quick to take care of himself, and soon his close friend as well. He became a vigilante because he was never able to have the same opportunities considering his financial condition. So as a remedy he gets a grant based internship with a highly respected corporation. The very corporation that helps with any legal work that heroes face, meaning Tommy is surrounded by the people trying to catch him for the better part of most days. His biggest issue now is for them to never find out, and to do the occasional coffee run.

I read a Hero fic with Tommy as a vigilante and fell in love with the idea.
