There is a child currently hugging him, although their height is half of his own, they're clutching onto him tightly and effortlessly. Wait. He recognises this child. He had loved this child, he had failed this child, he had lost this child.
“Tommy?” Techno manages to croak out, voice itching his bloodsoaked throat. He runs his fingers through the kid’s sunbeam strands, something he couldn't do often back..there. He is quite unsure whether he is in a dream or not. The verge of his cognizance, wishful thinking, remorseful lamentation.
“Hi,” Tommy tilts his head to look him in the eye. “I missed you! Phil said you wouldn't be back until tomorrow. You came back early for me, didn't you?”
“..Where did I go?”
“What do you mean? You literally left three days ago because you made a bet with Niki that you could find a polar bear nearby. You haven't forgotten, have you?”

After his execution, Techno spends his time in limbo. Except his limbo is his childhood town where he had lived with Tommy, Niki, and Phil.

Or, Phil does a Professor Utonium but instead of chemical X it's a random potion and instead of 3 superpowered toddlers Phil gets 2 traumatized ‘adults’ and a teenager who are all in desperate need of some therapy. So Phil does the next best thing and gives them a family.

Little scribbles that no one wrote, the colours the same, bar from the slight glow.“Love” was a common one. “Sister” or “brother” were common too, not all soulmates were romantic. Everybody knows a soulmate can be anyone. A sibling, a friend, a lover, a parent.
Everybody knows that, somewhere in the world, someone was made for them. That there was someone out there to love them first, and that everyone was loved. That everyone deserves love.
Hence why Tommy should’ve been absolutely ecstatic when he saw the 3 different colours scrawled across his skin.He wasn’t.

"Well, what did you expect?" Ranboo enquires, holding a plastic pallet entirely the wrong way. There isn't neccessarily a right way, but the way Ranboo holds the clear plastic is just flat out not correct.
"For it to be better!" Tommy cries, starting to sound like he's in genuine distress.
"That's on you." Wilbur says, putting his wooden pallet down and walking closer. Tommy glares at him as he approaches, but slumps into the hug all the same when it comes.
