The woman's eyes were blazing with rage, blue strands wild around her face. ''Let me go, you bastard!'' She snapped, her voice sharp despite the fear laced in it. ''Do you have any idea who I am?''
Vi chuckled, the heels of her boots clicking against the wooden deck as she slowly approached.

She tilted her head, enjoying the way Caitlyn flinched when she reached out to run a gloved finger along her jaw.

“Vi,” She responds quietly, smiling at the vision (because that's what Vi is, even after a fight– an absolute vision of a woman) in front of her. Both of her hands come up to cradle Caitlyn's face, and she willingly leans into it. “You're bleeding… are you– alright?”
“Am I alright–” Vi repeats the question, eyes welling up with tears– and Caitlyn brings her own hand up, it shakes so terribly, to caress Vi's cheek. She misjudges the distance, again– why? –and touches the air instead. She gets it on the second try. “–Oh, Cait, your eye.”
“I'm okay,” She assures her quietly, “I'm alright, Violet. I'm okay.”
