"This is fascinating! Not only have I finally managed to reach the sixth location of the fabled Quantum Moon, but after spending an interminable amount of time here, I seem to have encountered a member of an unknown alien species!
"This species seems to be spacefaring, as the being before me not only appears to be wearing a pressurized suit much like my own, but also seems to be equipped with a most ingenious translation device! I never imagined that I would be making first contact on my quantum pilgrimage, but as I am the only Nomai currently on the Quantum Moon, it falls to me to establish communications!
"I will record my observations in this voice log so that future Nomai can learn from this firsthand account."

You wrap your arms around their shaking frame, but it only lasts a moment before they squirm and push away from you. “No, no, that’s not it. I’m sorry, I don’t know, I’m trying to think of what…”
“That’s the problem,” you say softly, pulling back but keeping your hands on them. “Don’t try to think. Just feel, Nim. What do you need?”

“What’s so awesome about space, anyway?” Marl’s voice says from beyond your field of view.
Annoyed heat washes over you, and you sit up quickly enough to make your head spin. The effect is further worsened when you have to twist around to glare petulantly at Marl. It isn’t as threatening as it would be with blades of grass still sticking to your head. “What isn’t?”
Hal says, “I just like hearing the stories about Feldspar.”
“Exactly!” you blurt. “Don’t you wanna be like them and see it all for yourself?”

or, Marl comes up with a plan, the Hatchling is undeterred, and Hal realizes consequences exist sooner than the others.
