Summary
Katsuki has been pining for years after Izuku. He's softened up a bit, bankrolled a hero suit for the nerd, and gives lectures at UA whenever Izuku requests it. So when what he thought was a dream they shared doesn't pan out like he'd planned, life goes in a direction Katsuki never would've expected.

Yes, a main plot-point is Izuku cheating on Ochako, but this story is so much more than just that. In 431, we're left without Izuku's internal monologue, sitting on the outside looking in. It felt, in some moments, almost as if Katsuki was the one telling the story now. In this fic, I dive deep into his POV, showcasing how he sees things. Beginning with the Epilogue (431) as a Prologue here, we take a journey into a possible "what-if" of scenarios that could've happened, staying as true to the characters as possible. Nonetheless, Izuku *does* cheat on Ochako, so if that isn't your jam, this may not be for you.
P.S; "Scorpio Rising" by Soccer Mommy is part of the fic title inspo.
Although... if you know anything about scorpio rising in astrology, the fic may make more sense. Not required knowledge though, promise!THERE'S A HAPPY ENDING FOR EVERYONE. EVEN OCHAKO. I SWEAR !!!

That gets an interesting reaction. Something competitive sparks in Bakugo's eyes, damn near dangerous. "Yeah? Who's your favorite?"
"Yagi Toshinori," says Izuku without hesitation.
Bakugo scowls. "Oh, fuck you. That man isn't a drummer. He's a one-man band. Don't fuckin' insult a god like that."
Izuku shakes his head. "He exclusively only plays drums when he subs in for other bands on the road. Ergo, a drummer."
"Ergo?" Bakugo snickers. "You really are a damn nerd."
