“Techno,” Phil called as he closed in behind Techno on the dirt path, letting the name linger as he drew out the “o.”
Techno groaned quietly for show. He had already heard Phil’s wings beating as he tried to catch up. Techno didn’t hesitate in his stride, knowing that Phil would catch up easily enough. When Phil was close enough, he held an arm up just in time to have the elytrian perch on him.
Phil curled in on himself so he could grin down at his favorite perch. “Hi, mate,” he greeted happily.
Or: The blood god was summoned to save a young elytrian. He didn't think anything of it, assuming the business arrangement was over, but Phil keeps following him. And using him as a perch.
