Summary
After Hua Cheng disappears in a flurry of silver butterflies, Xie Lian waits for his return. Rumours whisper across the land. Crimson Rain Sought Flower has returned and is ruling over Ghost City. And he doesn't remember Xie Lian at all.
“Did daozhang think he could come here, flash his enchanted eyes, and pull one over on the Ghost King?” Hua Cheng coos.

Fuckin loved this Hualian fic I read it for 12+ hrs straight with minor breaks!
The writing is so good and well crafted i could FEEL the pain through the screen. My heart still hurts and it's been hours after I finished. The end was brilliant and I never say it coming. The forshadowing was working double time on me lmao. I need this as a mini book, I'd LOVE to put this on my shelf in my collection.
Definitely re-read worthy w/ mental prep first 🔥❣
