Summary
Luke is just a normal, run of the mill firefighter responding to an accident that ended up being a total cluster as the scene seems to get worse by the second. Thankfully, the little boy in the backseat of the car that had crumpled under an SUV type was okay - but now that Luke has pulled him out of the wreckage the kid won't let go of him. To top it all off, his sister Ahsoka convinces his captain he needs to ride along to the hospital. When the mother unexpectedly passes during surgery, Luke waits with the kid for the godfather to arrive.
Din was just heading home after a visit with his sister when he gets the call that she's been in an accident and he needs to head to the hospital as soon as possible. When he arrives his sister is gone and he's out of his head with a fever after driving for hours in the rain -- or he has to be, because there was no way blue-eyed, blond haired angels wore fire suits while holding his nephew's hand.

Summary
William Brandt tries to understand why the hell he threw himself out of a window over 100 stories up to catch his team leader. To make matters worse, Ethan Hunt himself appears in his apartment and then suddenly Brandt's in the hospital. Minutes later he's being woken up by Ethan, who is dragging him down the hallway while calling Jane for backup. Now Brandt has to figure out if he's in Inception, or if he's just having a really terrible day.

Summary
John isn't quite sure of his role in the new and fragile team he's ended up with after getting used to being assigned one all these years as a soldier and a shadow operative.
Everyone else seems to fall into some designation or other—leader, strategist, moral compass, father figure, muscle—all of them pieces falling in a puzzle that John can't seem to fill because the others fit better, and the thought slowly pushes him into a frustrated despair.
John spirals, becoming one with the sofa. He doesn't know that something else is wrong with him. Something darker and more sinister.

John wakes up in a cold sweat, drawing deep, labored breaths, feeling like his chest is about to cave in.
His bloodshot eyes focus, and with it, the chilling realization.
A sinister shape, pitch black, is straddling him, a figure so utterly devoid of light that it's silhouetted by the already dark background that is his room.
It only takes a second for him to catch on. He's seen this figure before, hovering above New York the day Bob transformed into Sentry.

Mobius. Mobius was next to him.
Loki’s about to ask why he’d ask such a thing—out loud this time—only to realize he was leaning against a wall, and not in a gracious or casual way.
Loki looks around, situating himself, knowing exactly where he was: one of the interminable number of hallways in the labyrinth that is the TVA. And when he was: right after cleaning himself up in a communal Temporal Core shower and putting on a fresh pair of clothes, following the time when they first ‘fixed’ his time slipping.
Mobius watches him with concern, probably fearing Loki wasn’t back to normal after all.
“Where do you sleep?” Loki asks.
“What?”
“Sleep. Rest. Where do you get it from?” O.B. had mentioned getting no sleep once, so surely everyone else in the TVA did get sleep? Like normal people do? He realized that after all his time here, he didn’t really know; he’d napped here and there at random corners of the premises, but never in an actual, proper bed. There’d been no time for that.
“Well—I mean, I have an assigned room?”
“Perfect. Take me to it.”
