Error had been appalled at Nightmare’s request when first faced with it. What in the multiverse did that octopus want with an anatomically correct doll of Error, out of all things?!
He’d been about to refuse and leave, yelling profanities at the other for even daring to ask for such a thing when Nightmare had shared his counter offer. One anatomically correct doll of Error in trade for two boxes of Underfell chocolate, no further strings attached.

It’s cold. Dream leans into it greedily, breath hitching. The contrast is overwhelming—blissful in its simplicity. He whines, quiet and wrecked.
“Nighty…” His voice wavers like it might shatter. His eyes sting. His SOUL pulses hard enough to make his spine curl.
“You’re lucky,” Nightmare murmurs, almost fond. “You’re too pathetic to kill like this.”

Dream is a King, King of Sunrise Eclipse. he's been a King for many months now. His parents having died shortly before his 18th birthday which he still grieves the loss of his parents. However the King of Midnight Fall Kingdom keeps attempting to peruse him. At first it started with letters, then meetings at their kingdom. And now this damn Nightmare is shoving flowers in his face asking for his hand in marriage
Little does Dream know this Nightmare was going to wage war on him the moment he denied.
And it appears Dream has bitten off more then he can chew.
