Summary
I have been wrecked by a ten-second handshake and I've decided to make that everyone's problem.
I am writing this after SNW season 2. It will go from late SNW s2 straight into TOS. Obviously it will soon be de-canonized by season 3, but I can't wait that long.
I will be picking the things I like from SNW canon and retconning a few things I don't like from TOS canon. But I think the overall arc of Kirk and Spock's story fits well within what both shows give us.
It will include material from the prime timeline movies. It *will not* include much if anything from Discovery because I haven't watched it.

Summary
"One might arguably say it is not fully logical to care whether I cannot return to Vulcan because it no longer exists or because it is separated from me permanently in five-dimensional space.”
“No, I think I get it,” said Jim. “Like, I haven’t gone back to the old house in Iowa in years, but I do like knowing it’s there. If my mom sold it and it got knocked down, it would make a difference to me.”
The ambassador nodded. “Likewise, even in four-dimensional space, we are separated from the things we have lost only by distance—by the fact that we cannot easily travel along the timeline.” He marked out a section of his timeline, then a dot further back in the bottom timeline—Jim’s timeline. “My marriage is here. I am here, in a different timeline and at a different time. But my marriage exists. It is a figure in four-dimensional space which will continue to exist, in that sense, eternally. So long as the timeline does not collapse, it is a permanent part of history. So although I do not have my spouse with me, I know that he existed. That somewhere, in a time and a dimension I cannot go, we are meeting for the first time. That somewhere, I am asleep in his arms.”

Summary
The Enterprise has received a priority mission to provide medical aid on Solkear, an isolated planet rarely seen by off-worlders. The Federation is vying for an alliance with Solkear due to its proximity to the neutral zone and abundance of natural resources. The Solkearan's desperate need for aid in the wake of a new pandemic provides the perfect opportunity to create good will with the insular and mysterious Solkearans. Unfortunately for the landing party, the Solkearans are of two minds about friendship with the Federation. Opponents of the alliance would do anything to protect the planet's many, many secrets, buried deep in the stony mountains of the northern hemisphere...

Summary
In the Immunity Syndrome, Spock telepathically experienced the collective shock and terror of 400 Vulcans as they died. And yet, in the Kelvin Timeline, Spock experienced no telepathic backlash whatsoever when 6 billion Vulcans were wiped out of existence along with their home planet. This story, set in the TOS universe, reimagines the destruction of Vulcan and the far-reaching repercussions this kind of loss might have.
