Summary
Yumiko Anzai has always been a fighter. She's tough, determined, and fiercely independent. But after a traumatic experience leaves her broken and vulnerable, Yumiko is forced to leave everything behind and start anew in Miyagi. It's a fresh start, but it's also a daunting one. She's leaving her best friends behind in Hyogo, and the thought of starting over is almost too much to bear.
In Miyagi, Yumiko is welcomed by her cousins, who provide a much-needed support system. But even with their help, she struggles to come to terms with what happened to her. It's not easy to move on from something so traumatic, and Yumiko often feels lost and alone. But slowly, she begins to see that there is hope.
