Summary
Grian let out a sigh, work had been so long today. He couldn’t wait to be able to sit down at his laptop and just mess around, watch YouTube, play Minecraft, and just enjoying himself. These plans quickly changed as he continued to approach the park near his house, he could hear faint crying.
He decided to try and find the source while he walked through said park, keeping an eye out for what could be the cause. It didn’t take long for him to see it, though, two small children, one with brown hair the other had blonde hair and yellow wings. He didn’t see any adults near the two kids so he decided to approach them.

Grian found two abandoned children and decided to take them in. How will his life change after finding these two, and eventually, gaining a new, found family.

Summary
Many who did not know Grian beyond his old name, Charles, would say he had a heart of stone. He was cold, calculated, emotionless, and wouldn’t flinch at the sound of a gun’s safety being clicked off.
Those who knew Grian by his other name, Xelqua, would also say he has a heart of stone, though for different reasons. When he loved someone, romantically or platonically, he would do anything for them. His love was relentless, strong and permanent, only a few things could break it. But when he cared for someone, he was willing to lay down his life, and all his deepest secrets, for them.
Those who knew Grian as, well, just Grian, thought he was just a funny little guy. They only thought that he was a good builder, a funny yet caring prankster, who was always willing to help fix up after a prank, and a bit skittish around certain types of people.

He didn’t want to die; he could faintly hear his friends' desperate attempts to help him, like how Taurtis did back in high school when he refused to open his mouth about who.
Mumbo was begging and screaming as Scar held him and pleaded for the Vex to do something, but there wasn’t anything anyone could do besides Doc. All Grian could think about was how close Doc was with Ren, how they seemed so perfect together as business associates, as co-leaders in a war, as partners; he watched them now flying over from the bot-terflies Doc made to destroy their builds, and he wondered why did he even bother fighting.
