Summary
Nat thinks maybe she died in that trailer, like she was supposed to, and that this is some fucked up version of hell come to swallow her whole. Maybe she died and came back wrong, like all the same parts but no sum, Frankenstein's monster in the shape of a girl. It would explain the hole in her chest, at least. Maybe she drowned in the lake and it’s her body swinging from that branch, and she's just a ghost following behind.
The truth is, Nat doesn’t even really know what being alive feels like. How would she ever know what death is?
or
nat is feeling a lot of big girl emotions and is bad at handling them. lottie is dying. they’re gay about it. tile is from zero by the smashing pumpkins.

Summary
“You know that song, that’s like ‘you’ve got a fast car, I want a ticket to anywhere, maybe we can make a deal?” Jackie says quietly when Nat returns to the porch.
“You mean the song called: Fast Car?” Nat follows her gaze to the truck. The last piece of her old man, and the only one really worth keeping.
She returns to look at Jackie, noticing the gym bag stuffed with clothes and cash.
“You’re not serious,” Nat scoffs with a laugh.
“Look, I don’t know about you, but I’m not ready to throw in the towel and die in fucking Wiskayok, New Jersey.”--
Follows roughly 10 years of one Natalie Scatorccio and one Jacqueline Taylor cohabitating in a Chelsea apartment while they learn how to be adults.

Again.
And again.
And again.

Summary
“Your robes are…red,” Hermione finally said, strangely accusing.
“Burgundy!” Severus protested. Red was tacky. Burgundy, however, had class.
“And what did you do to your hair?” she asked in horrified fascination.
Snape’s hand rose to his scalp.
“Nothing! What is wrong with you? I just washed it and blow-dried it like every morning…”
“Ah, I see.” She nodded and stepped back. “Alternate dimension. It must be.”
