    Of all the things to encounter in the Ever After, RWBY hadn't expected to meet the figures of their childhood fairy tales, and much less so, to discover that the Rusted Knight and the Tarnished Spartan were actually their friends from Beacon, Jaune and Pyrrha, with Pyrrha resurrected from death and both being much older, much more... mature. Something Team RWBY hadn't expected would have so much of an effect on them...
