Summary
It infuriates Shota.
It shouldn’t. He knows that. But something about the way Jongseob looks at him now—head tilted, eyes flickering over his mouth like he’s thinking about something filthy—makes Shota feel unsteady. Like the floor’s tilting beneath him. Like if Jongseob got one inch closer, he might say something Shota won’t be able to pretend he didn’t hear.
Or worse. Jongseob might act on it.
And he has no idea what the fuck he would do then.

Summary
There was a reason Hyuntak was capable of pushing so much about Baekjin under the rug. Because he blamed someone else more, way more than he thought possible. Someone he thought he would cherish forever, the person who stood and watched his knee become shattered and ruined, despite knowing he was an athlete. An athlete with dreams and aspirations he used to support.
Geum fucking Seongje, the person he hated, feared, thought about way too often at times.
The person who read so much manga in 10th grade he proceeded to go around telling half the school he and Hyuntak-ie were tied together by the red string of fate.
(or hyuntak and seongje used to be childhood friends before one went to eunjang, other to ganghak)

Summary
Hyun-tak isn’t the kind of guy who thinks too much before speaking. Or before throwing a punch. Which works fine, most of the time.
But that's only until Seong-je starts showing up again. Not with fists, not with backup, but with that fucking smile. That uncanny ability to press just the right button, and then act like he didn’t mean to.
The threats that don’t actually sound like threats. His laughs, the way he touches Hyun-tak like it’s nothing.
Hyun-tak reacts. Too fast, too confused, too caught between the fight and his will to protect his friends. And something worse.
He doesn’t get it. Doesn’t want to get it. But he keeps showing up. Letting it happen. Letting Seong-je get close enough to leave a mark.
But Seong-je? He wants to dig it up. Strip it down. Watch it burn.

aka a seongtak fic set after post-canon based on that portrays the unhealthy and healthy and medium rare healthy aspects of their relationship (just yapping until the plot makes sense)
