Some superheroes do the quiet, important work of listening. A story about fathers and sons.
His son’s hair. The skin at the back of his neck. His golden skin, the profile of his nose which Bruce can just see from above him. He would know his child through anything— give him the back of Dick’s hand and Bruce will know it, the curve of his ankle and Bruce will name it. Sometimes Bruce sees the man he has become and wonders, as if it is a miracle, how such a good man came to be.

Summary
Evan is a sweetheart. Tommy’s happy for him, pleased he gets to learn about men and himself and kissing and all of that in 2024, in LA. He has a comfort to him that Tommy didn’t reach until maybe five, ten years after the first time he kissed a man, and even then it was something a bit harder, a bit sharper. Tommy’s not sure Evan knows how to be anything but soft.
