“Excuse me, Mioda-san, but this appears to be rather terrible luck,” Komaeda said coldly. He peered stormily at Hajime, who didn’t miss the way his lips pursed in distaste. “Of course my talent would lead to the one most worthless person here sharing such an intimate moment with me… Nevertheless, I’m happy to be the one in this position! Better me than any wonderfully hope-filled individuals like yourselves.”Hajime is a student at Hope's Peak Academy - more specifically, a reserve course student.

Fumbling for an answer, he blurted out, "November 31st!"
Kanna furrowed her brow.

After trudging through his years at Hope’s Peak, and narrowly avoiding the ordeal that was the Hope Cultivation Plan, Hinata just wanted to settle back into his life, and hopefully find himself a place amongst Nanami’s friends in the 77th class. However, a certain student with far too much contempt for anyone without a talent was deciding to make that a problem. Hinata was convinced that him and Komaeda were natural born enemies, but maybe they were actually more similar than Hinata had ever hoped to realize.
