“Worried?” Henry reaches out to cup his cheek, thumb brushing across his facial hair. “I’m alright, love. We really had a nice day.”
“I’m glad.” Alex takes his hand and kisses each knuckle, glancing back up at him. “It’s just, you’ve been really tired. And you were gagging at your toothbrush. And… the blueberry ice cream.”
Henry looks at him, uncomprehending. “I suppose my tummy has been a bit off, but I don’t…” he hesitates, “what are you trying to say?”
Alex glances down at Henry’s stomach, wincing when Henry follows his gaze.
“Henry, you’re kind of… acting pregnant.”

He left the door ajar as he carefully put Hana’s carrier on the sofa and quickly went back to retrieve the scattered cans.

He has become the leading expert on Henry’s tempers, just by smell alone. He has built a catalog of them over the years, so familiar with them that he can name Henry’s mood within seconds.
The scent he carries now is something different, and his behavior is all wrong, too. He wonders how Alex has not noticed yet? No matter, detective David the Beagle is on the case.

Some of them just hadn’t met yet; others had died beforehand; and then there were the people in Eggsy’s situation. Sometimes people genuinely didn’t want their soulmates. Either they were in love with someone else, or they just didn’t like what they got stuck with, and Eggsy imagined the latter was very much the case with him and Harry. He couldn’t even begin to imagine what it must have felt like for him, the world’s prime example of a posh bloke, to have his soulmate be some beaten-up kid. He would have rejected him too.
Or: soulmate AU where you know your soulmate from the moment you touch them, and when you do, their name gets written over your heart like a brand. But that's not always a guarantee.
